Mountain hikes Lechtaler Höhenweg: 6th stage: Württemberger Haus-Steinseehütte-Hanauer Hütte

Zams /
Difficulty ratings: difficult
Route length: 3.8 km
Duration: 2:45 h

We've now been on the road for 14 days and have settled into the daily routine of long-distance hiking. A nice balance of packing, checking and trekking. Our thoughts are no longer caught up in the daily hustle and bustle. And if we do wander off, the whistle of a marmot brings us back to the here and now. Everyday mountain life in Tyrol. Oh, and here we are at the Hanauer Hütte.

Tour character

Difficult stage on black mountain paths. Alpine experience, surefootedness and concentration are required. Steep slopes, scree slopes on the ascent and descent as well as rope-secured passages to the Vordere Dremelscharte must be negotiated. Good physical condition required.

The nearby Gebäudjoch is soon reached. A view to the east reveals the Steinseehütte in the distance, which is only reached after a total of 4 hours of walking. The trail always remains on the southern slope of the main ridge. After overcoming the Roßkarschartl, the route descends comfortably to your destination.
