Because from the nearby Gebäudjoch, shortly after the Württemberger Haus, you can already see the Steinseehütte, our stage destination, but it's still a 4-hour walk. In return, the Steinseehütte scores points with its fantastic cuisine, great wine list and jagged rocky peaks all around.
Difficult stage on black mountain paths. Alpine experience and surefootedness are required. Steep climbs and the Roßkarscharte, which is secured by ropes, must be passed today. Good physical condition required.
The nearby Gebäudjoch is soon reached. A view to the east reveals the Steinseehütte in the distance, which is only reached after a total of 4 hours of walking. The trail always remains on the southern slope of the main ridge. After overcoming the Roßkarschartl, the route descends comfortably to your destination.
