Augsburger Hütte - Memminger Hütte

The Spiehlerweg trail connects Augsburger and Memminger Hütte and offers spectacular views. It leads over the Gatschkopf to the emerald-green Seewiesen. The route is challenging and scratches the 3,000 m mark with the Gatschkopf (2,945 m). The Memminger Hütte is idyllically situated by the lake and quickly makes you forget all your exertions.
Difficult stage on black mountain paths. Alpine experience, sure-footedness and good walking technique are required. Steep climbs and trails, scree-covered scree and the crossing of snowfields must be overcome. Good physical condition required.
