Arrival by public transport
Regiobus
The second stage is short and crisp and characterized by wind. The Joch wind whistles around our noses and leads us to the Kaiserjochhaus. It's a good thing that this quaint little hut is located in a wide, green valley on the Kaiserjoch. Because then we can stretch our noses towards the sun and count sheep in the clouds while the real sheep graze next door.
Difficult stage on black paths. Short, but on challenging high alpine climbs and paths, the tour demands full concentration and surefootedness. Alpine knowledge required.
With a length of around 100 kilometres and an altitude of between 2000 and 2500 metres, the Lechtaler Höhenweg follows the main ridge of the Lechtal Alps.
