A dragon tore the Kundlerklamm gorge out of the rock. At least that's the legend - and ideally your story too, if you want to make it exciting for your children. The Kundler Gorge with its wide paths and inviting stream bed is the perfect destination for families.

Description

Hobby geologists will find plenty of unusual stones along the river bed!

The tour starts at the interesting bridge built in the timber framestyle at the gorge entrance and leads on past imposing rock formations. After a 15 minutes' walk one reaches the Gasthaus Kundler Klamm. The entire gorge path is approx. 3 km and takes 1 hour to walk.

If desired, take the fun train from the Bahnhof Schlucht (mythical dragon figure) station to Mühltal/Wildschönau.

Any treasures hobby geologists have found can be made into exclusive objects at the Steindreherei Sandbichler (Tyrols only stone polishers).
