With an altitude difference of over 1,800 metres, this mountain is one of the most "fitness-intensive" mountains in the Stubaital. The partly steep and in the end exposed path is not often used due to the difference in altitude. The summit with a resting bench and magnificent view is worthwhile.
The ascent is best done from Krößbach via the Milderaunalm. Up to the Hühnerspiel, you hike comfortably over gentle terrain and mountain pine fields. Then the trail winds in a wide curve over the summit ridge to the summit. This part of the ascent requires absolute surefootedness and a head for heights! Enjoy the magnificent panoramic view on the resting bench!
