Description

The starting point of this varied tour is the mountain station of the Salvista cable car Itter on the Kleine Salve. From there, follow the signs towards Alpengasthof Rigi (trail no. 68/70), past the Kleine Salve reservoir.
Below the summit, continue along trail no. 71 to the Salvensee lake. The last, somewhat steeper ascent via hiking trail no. 90/95 leads across the southern slope to the summit of the Hohe Salve.
Path no. 65 leads back on the other side of the Hohe Salve to the Itter middle station, again past the Alpengasthof Rigi. Alternatively, you could hike back to the Kleine Salve mountain station and take the gondola lift directly into the valley, or continue towards the KRAFTalm via forest trail no. 70 or the Kleine Salve path. From the KRAFTalm at the middle station, take the gondola lift down into the valley.

If you would like to extend the hike, path no. 69 continues to Itter. Additional walking time: 1h 45 min
