The "Streif LIVE Hike" is not about hundredths of a second, but about three fascinating hours with impressive insights into the multifaceted racing action.
The Streif is also spectacular in summer, as a "Streif LIVE hike" shows. From the start house to the finish area, the focus is on the mousetrap, steep slope, bridge shot, Alte Schneise, Seidlalmsprung and traverse. Four state-of-the-art infotainment LCD portals with film sequences and flash animations provide up-close insights into the events surrounding the ski races. Time pressure? No problem! The 1050 meters in altitude can be covered in 2.5 to 3 hours on a leisurely hike.
After a ride in the red winner gondolas of the Hahnenkamm cable car, the hike starts at the start house. In winter and summer the focus is on the key points of Mausefalle, Steilhang, Brückenschuss, Alte Schneise and Seidlalmsprung up to the Traverse. By means of digital info screens, the racing feeling can be felt up close in summer too. At the aforementioned key points there are clearly recognisable red gates. At the Ganslernalm, the hiking trail keeps to the left for a stop at the Rasmushof in the finish area of the legendary Streif.
