Mountain hikes Kaltenbach - Wöscherweg - Kaltenbach

Description

Departing from Kaltenbach railway station, head out of the valley and follow the road uphill to the left when you reach the Sparkasse bank. After passing Marienkapelle chapel on the right-hand side of the stream, you embark on an ascent to the end of the road: This is where the hiking trail (to Kaltenbach waterfall) leads into the forest. A moderate ascent brings you to the first junction, where you should keep somewhat to the right and head along Wöscherweg road to reach the edge of the forest. You then join a small track, heading downhill through the meadows until you come to Wöscherkapelle chapel. Once there, keep right and make your way back to Kaltenbach.
