Mountain hikes Kaltenbach - Dürrbachweg - Kaltenbach

Description

Head out of the valley from Kaltenbach railway station to the Sparkasse bank, then follow the road uphill to the left. After passing Marienkapelle chapel on the right-hand side of the stream, you embark on an ascent to the end of the road: This is where the hiking trail leads into the forest. The route up to Kaltenbach waterfall is not
particularly steep. On the return journey, you pass through the high-ropes course before heading right onto Dürrbachweg road (which is also a bike climb trail). A gentle ascent through the forest guides you across the piste, after which the bike trail heads down while the hiking trail leads straight on to the right. You then hike along the level terrain of the tranquil forest to reach Dürrbachbrücke bridge. When you come to the asphalt road, keep left and head continuously downhill to return to Kaltenbach.
