Regiobus stop Steeg Dorf to Kaisers
The Kaiserjochhaus is the starting point for spectacular summit tours. For many high mountain gourmets, however, a stop at the hut is the pinnacle of enjoyment.
The "imperial" trail also requires fitness: from the Edelweißhaus in Kaisers along the Kaiserbach stream with a moderately difficult ascent to the Kaiseralpe and then steeply up to the Kaiserjochhaus. Walking time approx. 3.5 to 4 hours Approach from Pettneu (variant via Nessleralm), also 3.5 hours over several steep steps to Kaiserjochhaus. Depending on the weather, you can enjoy the excellent food on the terrace or in the wood-paneled parlor with tiled stove.
In Kaisers, from the Edelweißhaus or the Gasthaus Vallugablick, your hike leads along the Kaiserbach stream to the Kaiseralpe. From there, turn right over the bridge and take the steep hairpin bends up to the Kaiserjochhaus.
Once you reach your destination, you have a fantastic panoramic view of the Lechtal mountains.
