Mountain hikes Jausenstation Sonnberg - Kohleralmhof/Spieljochbahn Mittelstation

Description

Starting from the valley station of the Spieljochbahn cable car, head along the road towards Hotel Waldfriede. Shortly before reaching the hotel, turn left at the wooden fence and follow the gravel trail uphill until you reach the course of the stream. At the signpost, bear left onto the forest path. After a half-hour ascent including 75 
wooden steps, you will come to the Sonnberg snack station on your right. From there, head uphill on the road until you reach the second bend. Then bear left and follow the signpost to reach another forest path. The final 1.3 km are a continuous ascent on the asphalt road towards the middle station. For the return journey, you can head back along the same route or ride down into the valley on the Spieljochbahn cable car.
