Description

The Rauher Kopf is the local mountain of Ischgl and is reachable in approx. 3 hours from the village. The route leads from the Silvretta cable car to the church and after that towards the middle station. The exhausting ascent leads through the forest until you reach the Tschamatschkopf, which lies some 300 metres beneath the summit. The views from the summit cross are the perfect reward for the efforts. Return section: the descent happens via „Äußeres and Inneres Bergli“, from where the gorgeous Bergli lake is reachable within 15 minutes and should not be missed. After the descent to Mathon, take the bus to come back to Ischgl in comfort.
