Good and healthy: The excellent, partly vegetarian and vegan food at the Greizer Hütte is lovingly prepared and tastes even better in the fresh mountain air.
It's a nice walk to the Greizer Hütte, but you follow the trail in beautiful nature: from the mountaineering village of Ginzling, an ascent leads along a forest path and trail through the Floiten valley to the Oberer Floitengrund, walking time 4 ½ hours. From the Tristenbachalm it is a 3 ½ hour walk; if you take the hiking cab to the valley station of the material cable car, you will reach your destination in 2 hours. In the hut, the hospitable team is ready with freshly prepared Tyrolean dishes. Hot drinking chocolate with milk from the hut's own goats is available on request.
Hiking trail No. 521 begins at the Nature Park House, from where you walk along the asphalt road to Tristenbachalm, 1,200 m, and then continue to Steinbockhütte, 1.380 m. After passing the material cable car, the challenging ascent to the Greizer Hütte, 2.227 m begins. Once there, you'll be greeted with a breathtaking view of the Floitental, also known as "Floite". The return journey follows the same route back to the starting point at the Nature Park House.
