Very beautiful hike along the Höhenbach valley, past the Simms waterfall to the Rossgumpenalm.
Your route starts at Gasthaus Bären on the left bank along the Höhenbach stream and takes you northwards over three bridges to the Simms waterfall.
A steep climb awaits you up to the waterfall, where you will reach Café Uta within 5 minutes.
Continue along the Höhenbach stream through shady forest and sunny forest clearings. At the end of the valley is the beautiful Rossgumpenalm.
Take the same route back to Café Uta and then follow the signpost "Schiggen - Hängebrücke". First walk up to the ascending forest path to the junction for the suspension bridge, from there take a narrow path downhill to the suspension bridge, which you cross.
Now just walk down the asphalt path and you are back in the centre of Holzgau.
