Mountain hikes Holzgau über Hager Höhenweg und Ebene nach Steeg

The municipality of Hol is located at the entrance to the wild and romantic Höhenbachtal gorge with the famous Simms waterfall.

Description

Starting from Gasthof Bären, turn left after the Marterle des Heiligen Nepomuk on the tarmac path, pass the church on the right and follow this tarmac main path, then the wide goods path to Hagerbachertal. From there, take the path over the Hager past the materials cable car. The path leads downhill again and joins a goods road and through the forest to the tarmac road through the Ebene district. The last section is along the village road down to Steeg, or past the Hotel Bergmahd through a small section of forest and then along a goods road past pastures to Steeg.
