Mountain hikes Hölltal - Trail of the Senses - Bschlaber Höhenweg

Pfafflar /
Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 7.4 km
Duration: 2:45 h

A shaft into the depths: the Hölltal gorge is 45 meters deep, but only 40 centimetres wide in places! Come to think of it, we'd rather look at the gorge from above. Incidentally, there is an ideal opportunity for this at the end of the "Path of the Senses".

Tour character

Beautiful hike on a moderately difficult trail along various sculptures and texts on the Path of the Senses and through the Hölltal Gorge.

Description

Your trail of the senses begins below the "Maria Schnee" pilgrimage church in Bschlabs. Follow the "Trail of the Senses" signposts down to the Streinbach stream. You cross an old pedestrian suspension bridge and reach the Place of Silence on the other side of the valley after a short ascent.
The path of the senses ends after approx. 1 hour. We recommend that you continue the short stretch to the Hölltalschlucht gorge and then return via the Bschlaber Höhenweg trail or continue on to Boden.
