Information boards on historical buildings and the new booklet will enable locals and guests in the Upper Court to take a journey into the past. The project was initiated by the cultural association Sigmundsried, the tourism association Tiroler Oberland and the municipality Ried.
Bilingual information boards (English and German) were placed at a total of 22 stations, including the parish church of St. Leonhard, Sigmundsried Castle and the Fasslbrunnen. 17 locations are located directly in Ried. Off the village tour there are also five outposts, such as the grain and sawmill and the Inn bridge.
