The Kaufbeurer Haus (2005 m above sea level) is a refuge in the Allgäu Alps on the north side of the Hornbach mountain range.
From the Gasthaus Adler, a well-marked path leads past the Karköpfl up to the Kaufbeurer Haus in the Urbeleskar at 2,005 m.
Only open at weekends from the end of May to the beginning of October.
The steep mountain trail continues via Urbeleskar to Schwärzerscharte and down to Haglertal.
