Description

The starting point of this hike is the summit of the Hohe Salve. There you follow the signs in the direction of Alpengasthof Rigi (no. 65). Passing the Rigi and the Kälberalm, you hike to the KRAFTalm in Itter (no. 65/67). Continue along a forest path to the Hexenwasser.
Back to the starting point, follow the signs in the direction of Hohe Salve (no. 70). Past the Gründlalm mountain restaurant, turn right onto trail no. 50. At the Angeralm, Keatalm and Innere Keatalm, continue hiking in the direction of Alpengasthof Rigi to the Kälbersalvealm (no. 71). From there, follow the signs no. 90/95 up to the Hohe Salve via the Salvensee lake.

Alternatively, you can take the gondola from Hochsöll to the Hohe Salve.
