Description
Starting from the parking lot at the Waldrast, the gravel path leads east up to the Ehrenberg Castle World. The hermitage is reached after a steep climb. The museum "on the knight's trail" is ideal for a first break. Passing the valley station of the EhrenbergLiner, the final ascent towards the Ehrenberg castle ruins begins. On the gravel path it goes up through the forest and past the bridge portal of the highline179. Once at the top you can visit the historic ruin and enjoy a breathtaking view over Reutte. Those who want to experience the "view with a thrill" can now cross the 400 meter long highline179 - the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world in Tibet style. The same path then leads back into the valley.
