Beautifully situated family excursion destination in the nature reserve of the rear Gschnitztal valley.
Follow the plastered road from the starting point (big parking area) behind the Gasthof Feuerstein to the Laponesalm or turn right at the beginning, walk over the bridge of the Gschnitzbach stream and follow the forest path no. 50, always to the right of the stream to the southwest. After about 20 - 25 minutes you will reach a bridge again. Cross the road and then the bridge to the other side of the stream and continue on path no. 50 next to the Gschnitzbach stream. The path leads mainly through the woods, finally you cross alpine pastures and you reach the last bridge which you need to cross again to get to the Laponesalm.
Alternative with pram: take the plastered road straight to the Laponesalm (45 min - 1 hour)
