Hut hike Braunschweiger Hütte

St. Leonhard im Pitztal /
Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 10.4 km
Duration: 5:00 h

Anyone who spends time up here falls into silence. Whether this is due to the impressive Mittelbergferner, the second largest glacier in Tyrol, or the truly excellent cuisine at the Braunschweigerhütte - no one has been able to tell us yet.

Tour character

First flat, then increasingly steeper ascent, which finally winds its way in serpentines through rock bands. Partly with exposed but rope-insured sections. However, surefootedness is absolutely essential.
