Description

The Stanzerwaal circuit first leads towards the Schrofenstein ruins and then takes a sharp left onto the forest path to Grins. This leads into the beautiful Waalweg trail, which requires some surefootedness, and leads up to the sulphur spring. From there, the path continues to the village of Grins. The sunny village of Grins with its Rhaeto-Romanic character is the turning point of this sporty tour. The way back leads along a section of the Way of St James, the most important Christian pilgrimage route in the world, surrounded by orchards, meadows and forests back to Stanz.
