Leisurely high-altitude hike on the mountain and by the Astbergsee lake - the Kaiser's mirror!
This time you start up on the mountain, directly at the top station of the Astberg chair lift. The Astberg lake, which is rightly called the 'mirror of the Wilder Kaiser', is also located up here.
Walk in the direction of the Blattlalm and then turn right onto the meadow path. From there, the path leads into a small forest. You now hiek around a small mountain peak and can enjoy the panoramic view. After a while, you reach a road, which you follow until shortly before the Jezz Alm Resort. The path then branches off to the right at the small houses. After a short, steeper ascent, you reach the mountain station of the 'Sonnenlift' and have reached the highest point of the hike.
From there, a forest trail leads past a small mountain hut in the direction of the Blattlalm. There you will also find a bench that is particularly ideal for enjoying a break. You shouldn't miss out the view of the Astbergsee, which is also called the 'mirror of the Wilder Kaiser', before taking the Astberg chair lift or walking back down into the valley.
If you don't want to go down into the valley just yet, you can try some delicious Tyrolean specialities at the Blattlalm. Relaxed hiking is guaranteed here.
