Mountain hikes Gramai Alm - Gramai Hochleger - Sonnjoch - Gramai Alm

Difficulty ratings: difficult
Route length: 11 km
Duration: 6:30 h

Have you ever seen an ibex? On this tour to the Sonnjoch, there is a particularly good chance of spotting the animals in their natural habitat.

Tour character

Beautiful hike in the Karwendel, which leads from the Gramai Alm via the Gramai Hochleger to the Sonnjoch. The trail begins leisurely along the alpine meadows and then becomes increasingly steeper through alpine terrain. The summit of the Sonnjoch offers impressive views of the surrounding Karwendel mountains. The tour requires surefootedness, especially in the steeper section to the summit. Alternatively, you can also descend via the east ridge and the Bärenlahner Sattel (difficult).
