Description

Your starting point is the Stablalm parking lot, where you can park for a fee. The regional bus stop is just a few hundred meters away in the village center of Elmen. From the parking lot, take the short path to the Stabl. The steep trail now leads you through the Stablwald forest, past a hunting lodge to the Kreuzspitz ridge and along the ridge to the Elmer Kreuzspitze. You need to be sure-footed and have a head for heights to climb to the summit of the Elmer Kreuzspitze. In wet conditions, snow and ice, the steep grassy slopes can become slippery and an ascent is not recommended
