Description

From the Koasastadion parking lot, walk past the roundabout and follow Hinterkaiserweg until Meickl carpentry. Turn right to Farcherweg. Shortly a footpath leads across the field to the hamlet Bärnstetten. Once there, yellow hiking signs point you in the right direction to the Einsiedelei. The path becomes steeper, you walk up along the carved stations of the cross from Burgwiesen farm. But soon the highlight of the hike is visible: the Maria Blut hermitage. Tip: Be sure to visit the lovingly landscaped garden and the chapel from the inside!

Continue along a rooted hiking trail through the forest. Always stay on this path, you will be led comfortably along the foot of the Niederkaiser with great views of St. Johann in Tirol and Kitzbüheler Horn to the Rummlerhof hikers' car park. You can either continue your hike in the direction of Gasthof Rummlerhof (for a hearty food and a drink) or return to the Koasastadion in the direction of St. Johann in Tirol.
