Beautiful circular hiking trail with a wonderful view of the lake Eibsee!
The Thörle circular trail starts above the valley station of the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn cable car. After a short steep climb (junction to Schützensteig - stamping point), the asphalt path leads slightly uphill to Höchthörle Hütte (stamping point). At the fork in the path above the hut, turn right and walk for about 10 minutes to the Eibseeblick. Follow this path back to the fork, then turn left “Um die Thörlen”. Follow the forest path until you see various wooden figures on the left. After approx. 30 minutes you reach the second Eibseeblick (stamp point). Follow the forest path until you reach the junction to the forest path to the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn. Here the asphalt path on the right leads through the “Ponöfen” to the parking lot above Zugspitzhotel Diana Thörle. Follow the path on the right-hand side of the road to the Tiroler Zugspitzbahn parking lot.
This circular route can also be followed in the opposite direction.
