Description

The "Schwendauer Pfad" provides insight into the diversity of Schwendau. This easy hiking path traverses the entire village and serves as a starting point for additional themed routes.

The trail begins along the art river, passing by the adventure playground "Auenland Sidan" to the chapel at Burgschrofen, and continues to the entrance of the Zimmereben via ferratas. There, one can connect to the Zimmereben Circular Path. The journey continues along the forest path to the Sidan and Horberg Creek embankment, where the associated Waterfall Circular Path commences.

The path continues through the district of Schwendau Dorf, passing numerous interesting locations, and eventually returns to the starting point at the Ziller Promenade.

The "Schwendauer Pfad" showcases the diverse facets of the Schwendau community, shaped by nature, the church, historical events, and now offering a modern infrastructure.
