Along the Ziller Promenade, the "Kunstfluss" invites you to discover the fascinating wooden sculptures by nine artists that connect the Zillertal with the globalized world.
Along the left side of the Ziller Promenade, the "Art River" stretches for approximately 3.7 km. On the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the Schwendau community in 2008, nine artists related the cultural aspects of the Zillertal to the globalized world. These innovative ideas, manifested in wooden sculptures, have enriched this public space ever since.
The route starts from the Europahaus in Mayrhofen, heading west, passing the train station, until reaching the Ziller Promenade. From there, take route nr. 01 on the left side of the Ziller (river) all the way to Hippach. For your return journey, you can take the other side of the Ziller Promenade.
