Easy hike to the Gamsalm with magnificent views of the Ehrwald basin
You start in the center of Ehrwald. You walk through the beautiful mixed beech forest along the Wetterstein ski area to above the mountain station. Here you cross the Lähngraben and then follow the slightly descending forest path to the Gamsalm.
You have the option of returning via the same route, shortening the way back a little along the ski slopes or opting for the quickest descent in the direction of “Ehrwald Ebne”/camping and taking one of the summer buses from there.

Close to the tour start, at the lift station "Sunracer, Wetterstein" you find a big parking lot
