Description

The walk begins at the car park of the lift station Berwanger Sonnalmbahn at the entrance to Berwang. From the car park follow the sidewalk next to the main road uphill towards the village center. Turn left in front of the Hotel Edelweiß and hike on the little-used road in direction "Tal" and Lähner Alm (closed). Follow the wide, graveled valley path gently down to the Kleinstockach bridge. Turn right there and on the barely used road to the small villages Kleinstockach and Bichlbächle (inns in both places).

●   Keep your distance from grazing animals
●   Be aware of the mountain hut opening hours

    Summer & winter bus of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena (free with guest card), Postbus (free in the region with guest card), excursion bus Bavaria-Tyrol (only for TZA guests and free with guest card), regional trains (Garmisch-Patenkirchen-Grainau-Ehrwald-Lermoos-Reutte), special bus to Lumagica-Ehrenberg Reutte (free with guest card, winter only, Sundays only)
