Nice and cozy hut hike
The start of this beautiful and easy hut hike is at the car park Egghof. After approx. 5 minutes walking time, the wide, paved path ascends slightly past our summer sports center "Bärenarena" (outdoor swimming pool, tennis, mini golf, kiosk). It continues on a well-developed path through beautiful forests. After about 40 minutes walking time you will reach Das View - the Pop-Up (Jägerhaus - managed).
From there - at the foot of the Almkopf - a wide, gravel path continues across the alpine meadows up to the Heiterwanger Hochalm (managed).

Descent options:
- the same way back to Berwang
- Höhenweg / Thanellerkar / Berwang (not suitable for stroller)
- Via the wide path and the Biligweg to Berwang
The Heiterwanger Hochalm can also be reached by the chairlift Berwanger Sonnalmbahn (4-seater chairlift) (opening times and tariff information available in the tourist office).
