Mountain hikes Stanzach - Auf den Baichlstein

Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 3.6 km
Duration: 1:15 h

An old Lechtal wooden door on the Baichlstein symbolically invites you to take a different view of the world. And indeed: the view of the Lechauen is different. Different and beautiful. Different, of course.

Tour character

Easy hike to the beautiful Baichlstein viewpoint, which offers views in both directions down to the Lech. Behind the artistic door at the summit, the extraordinary view of the "Lechzopf", as the Lechauen are also known, opens up. No refreshments along the way, suitable for children.

Description

You walk in a southerly direction along the romantic Lech river to the Lech bridge and cross it. Immediately after the bridge, turn right and follow the tarmac path to the fork.
Turn left onto the ascending forest path with a beautiful view over the wide Lech meadows. The forest path circles the south-east flank of the Baichlstein and leads into a hiking trail that takes you through a beautiful pine forest to the summit.
At the cross of the Baichlstein, a breathtaking panorama opens up before you. You go back the same way.
