Mountain hikes Aschau - Gasthof Talblick (1200m) - Aschau (Trail No. 42)

Description

Starting from the village centre, head a short while into the valley until you reach the bridge that leads over the Ziller river and towards the Camping Aufenfeld facility. Cross this bridge, then follow the signpost to the left and over the stream. Continue on the uphill gravel trail that runs alongside the stream and into the forest. Cross 
back over the stream via the wooden bridge, then follow the Kreuzweg trail through woodland and meadows as you complete a moderate ascent to Wiesberghof farm. Hike briefly uphill along the asphalt road, then stay on the trail as it bears left and heads through more woodland and to a number of other farms. Follow the road uphill, then join a trail that leads through meadows, forest, and back on to the road all the way through to the Talblick inn. The return journey begins on the asphalt road until this merges with the hiking trail towards Aschau. Featuring occasional steep sections, this forest path brings you past Camping Aufenfeld and back to the starting point.
