Description

Start in the village center of Oetz. From there you walk next to the Ötz river to Weller-bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the forest trail to Kohlstatt. There you turn on the small and steep path to Armelen hut.

On your way back you take the same path or you walk down to "Tumpen" on the forest road. From tumpen you have a good bus connection back to Oetz.

The Armelen Hut is one of the fine culinary spots ("Genussplatzlen"). "Regional, seasonal, honest cuisine - whatever is available is enough!" - is the motto. The "Genussplatzlen" include commited businesses that act regionally and sustainably whenever possible. Find out more at www.oetztal.com/genussplatzlen
