Description

From the exit of the 2nd section of the Imster Bergbahnen cable car, the route leads uphill and after a short time you reach the small summit cross of the Vorderer Alpjoch. A breathtaking panorama opens up here, rewarding the effort of the ascent. The ascent continues along the ridge, always accompanied by a fantastic backdrop. The rugged mountain landscape and clear mountain air create an impressive atmosphere. The panoramic view accompanies you at every turn. The descent is challenging, as the terrain is bouldery and partly covered with scree. Careful sure-footedness is required as you tackle the descent. Make sure you master the challenges of the terrain with care. On the way down, the cozy Muttekopfhütte invites you to take a well-earned rest. Here you can fortify yourself, continue to enjoy the impressive mountain landscape and recharge your batteries. The descent via the Latschenhütte finally takes you to the middle station of the Imster Bergbahnen cable car. This is where this fantastic hike comes full circle, offering both scenic beauty and sporting challenges.
