Easy, flat hike through the Kaiserbachtal nature reserve with seven child-friendly knowledge stations on the topic of nature conservation. The two-kilometre Schnackler adventure trail begins directly afterwards, with play and information stations specially designed for younger children.

Description

The educational nature trail Alpine Outdoor Gallery: The Kaiser Mountains and Kaiserbach valley have been a nature conservation area since 1963. On an area spanning approximately 93 km², the emphasis is on protecting the natural and cultural landscape. On site there is also an exhibition in the guise of the Alpine Outdoor Gallery in Kaiserbach valley.
You can find out what is meant by a nature conservation area and the things that ought to be considered when using it, at 7 stations on the re-designed educational nature path through the Kaiserbach Valley.
Displays and information boards provide valuable and interesting information about the flora and fauna, along with the special features in the Kaiser Mountains conservation area. Along with interesting information about animals, plants and the environment, at the 7 stations - which have exhibition boards - there are also tips provided with regard to the correct use of the natural surroundings.
There are a wide range of themes, ranging from waste prevention to information about the variety of species, to themes about water, forest and Alpine farming. For little 'guardians' of the conservation area in particular, there are valuable tips on how best to approach the natural surroundings, presented in an exciting way, helping deepen their understanding.
