Description

The Alpenrosensteig, especially beautiful in the blooming season, leads in its entire length, mostly above the tree line, from Ehrwald to the Heiterwangersee.

Only the western part in the area Zingerstein - Schärtle, leads in easy climbing through rocky terrain and requires a secure footing and a head for heights.

It is advisable to walk individual sections of this tour and possibly combine them with a summit ascent. No matter in which place you start or finish this tour, with the Ausserfernbahn you can easily get back to your starting point.
