With its 12 kilometres of single trails, an offer has been created here that appeals to all bikers from young to old. A special feature of the bike park is the shape of the trails - professionals and beginners alike will find different challenges on the same route and a descent in a mixed team is twice as much fun!
In addition to its very appealing trails, the bike park offers an unrivalled panorama over a breathtaking landscape. The Lienz Dolomites are a constant companion and invite you to take a break and marvel.
All roads lead to Lienz, at least almost. Coming from Germany, take the E54 to Kiefersfelden. From Kufstein, follow the signs for "Felbertauernstraße" and you will reach East Tyrol. Coming from the west (e.g. from Innsbruck), take the A12 motorway to the Wörgl-Ost exit and from there take the Felbertauernstraße through Kitzbühel and Mittersill to East Tyrol. Coming from the east (e.g. from Vienna), take the A2 towards Klagenfurt, then change to the A10 and drive from Lendorf via the B100 to East Tyrol.
The "Flow Family Trail" delivers what it promises - variety for the whole family. For beginners, it offers an easy trail with berms and rollable jumps through an alpine forest. Advanced riders and pros will find a varied jumpline that reveals new features with every descent.
If you are looking for variety and already have some experience, the Alban Lakata Trail is the place for you. The trail leads over flowing sections with kickers as well as root and stone passages into the valley. Named after the marathon mountain bike world champion Alban Lakata and part of the "Great Trails", the route offers plenty of racing character - which is put to the test at the annual Red Bull Dolomitenmann. Another trail named after a professional is the "Peter Sagan Trail". If you want to collect frequent flyer miles and enjoy the view at the same time, this is the right place for you! But beware: there are a few gaps and step-ups on the 4-kilometre trail. Of course, there is also something for those who like it natural. The "Welcome to the Jungle" trail leads downhill over roots, stone fields and stepped passages. The route, which is labelled black for difficulty, demands a lot from even experienced riders.
Lienz offers a special kind of charm. Its proximity to Italy conveys an almost Mediterranean flair in the middle of the Alps. You can enjoy this special atmosphere in the pizzeria next to the bike park. Numerous cafés and gelaterias in Lienz also invite you to linger a while. If you are travelling by camper, you should stay overnight at the Seewies campsite. Although it is not in the immediate vicinity of the bike park, it is beautifully situated right by the lake. There is a bike hire and service centre right next to the Schlossbergbahn valley station. Here you will find a selection of rental bikes and protective equipment as well as the necessary spare parts to guarantee a carefree stay at the bike park.
Lienz is not only worth a trip for biking. There is a wide range of other leisure activities on offer, especially for children, including a petting zoo, summer toboggan run and climbing garden.
If you love curries, you should definitely stop off at the Himmelreich restaurant.
