Cycle tour Via Claudia Etappe 2: Biberwier - Landeck

Technically easy cycle tour in the Außerfern on mainly asphalt and forest roads with one short and two longer ascents. After the German border, the first short ascent begins over the small Kniepass. After the gentle ascent to Reutte, the next steeper section follows on the Schlossberg, below the famous Ehrenberg castle ruins with the impressive Highline 179 suspension bridge. Bikers pass through the Zwischentoren valley to Heiterwang, where the third steeper section to Bichlbach begins. From there, it's all downhill to the Ehrwald basin near Biberwier to the south-east of the Zugspitze.
