Mountainbike-Tour Tour to the Brechhornhaus

Description

We begin tour 261 at the valley station of the Gaisbergbahn and cycle from the river on the MTB route 205 towards Aschau. This flat section is ideal for warming up. Along the route the cycle path joins the main road on which we have to continue for a short distance. Passing the valley station of the Ki-West gondola, the path takes us uphill to the right, directly after the Brügglbach. Well signposted and soon on gravel, we cycle on route 261 beside beautiful Alpine meadow slopes and through the forest towards the Brechhornhaus. Past the many mountain pastures and after a relaxing flat stretch, we only have a few more hairpin bends to tackle and we arrive at our destination. The Brechhornhaus is a perfect opportunity to fortify ourselves before we return to the valley along the already familiar route.
