Challenge: ride through without pedaling! The Chainless One is a relatively easy trail that runs smoothly all summer thanks to regular reshapes.
The Chainless One is one of the most popular flow trails around Innsbruck. The good route layout with tight bends, wide berms, small jumps and a jump line provides absolute downhill fun. The seven-kilometre trail is perfect for beginners, families and pros alike. If the trail becomes too challenging or your strength starts to wane, you can switch to the forest path and roll down into the valley at a leisurely pace.
From 2020, the trail will run continuously from the mountain station to the valley station of the Muttereralmbahn and promises an endless flow experience over a length of more than 7 kilometres. Beginners, families and experts alike will get their money's worth on the trail, as it offers wide bends and small jumps to suit every rider.
Another brand new feature is a (bypassable) jumpline with a total length of around 450 metres, in which 16 different elements such as hips, tables, stepdowns and corner jumps are integrated. This jump line is aimed specifically at advanced riders and experts.
