Description

The starting and ending point of the Bodenegg mountain bike loop tour is the Freizeit Arena in the center of Sölden. Facing the Freizeit Arena, head right and follow the Ötztal Cycle Path 11 until you reach the valley station of the Gaislachkogelbahn.

At the Gaislachkogelbahn, turn right onto the B186 federal road and follow it until you reach the junction where the Glacier Road branches off. From here, turn right and climb the steep Glacier Road. After two switchbacks, leave the Glacier Road and turn left onto Infangstraße.

Passing Infang, take the next left (marked by a red barrier) onto Obere Gewerbestraße, which you follow until you rejoin the B186 federal road. Turn right onto the B186 and continue to Zwieselstein. In the village, take the first right turn just before Gasthof Brückenwirt. From there, follow a forest road along the left side of the Venter Ache all the way to Bodenegg.

From Bodenegg, the route leads back the same way to Zwieselstein and then to Sölden. The section between Zwieselstein and Bodenegg is part of an official mountain bike racecourse, where several international mountain bike races have taken place.
