Die flache Rennradtour von Längenfeld über Huben bis hinunter nach Winklen ist perfekt fürs Training im Grundlagenausdauerbereich. Im Längenfelder Talbecken kann man auch mehrere "Trainingsrunden" absolvieren.
The shorter route is as suitable for family outings as the second option which is a bit longer. The trail travels on the valley floor along gravel and asphalt roads. You start in Huben at the football field (this is also the starting point for the ascent to Alpengasthof am Feuerstein). Off the main road, you explore all the little hamlets of the valley basin, heading from Huben towards Längenfeld and further on to Winklen. A big part of the trail leads along the rushing waters of the Ötztaler Ache mountain brook, a perfectly refreshing route also on hot summer days. The trail features varied lovely rest stops you shouldn't miss! Special tip: fun-filled hours are guaranteed at the Water Playground next to lake Winkelbergsee (ascent: approx. 15 minutes on a slightly rising forest trail). Don't forget to take snacks with you, and enough to drink.

Reisen Sie mit der Bahn komfortabel und sicher zur Bahnhof-Station Ötztal. Direkt am Bahnhofsvorplatz startet ein Linienbus in Richtung Obergurgl. Die Busfahrt bis nach Umhausen dauert ca. 30 Minuten.
