This gentle cycle tour of approx. 13 kilometers around Lake Walchsee leads past the largest contiguous moorland area in North Tyrol without any major climbs. With beautiful panoramic views of the Kaiser Mountains and one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol at the end.

Description

Starting point is the Alleestraße (it starts on the opposite side of the tourist office near the bus stop), past the municipality of Walchsee to the Ramsbach bridge. Straight ahead to Moarhof (golf course) and continue to the second fork in the road, here keep right and then left to Seetal. From there on the main road through Durchholzen to the Amberglift, turn right and via the district Öd around the lake back to the center of Walchsee.

    Parking is available on the lake promenade or on the eastern shore.

    Parking is free with the Kaiserwinkl Card.
