Description

Start the tour in the center of St. Johann. Cycle along Speckbacherstraße to Oberndorf past the impressive Egger factory. This is an internationally active timber company, then you cycle along the Römerweg, accompanied by beautiful farms, hay barns and chapels to Kitzbühel. You continue to Schwarzsee and thus directly through the most legendary sports town in the Alps. Shortly before reaching Schwarzsee, you will pass a well-known photo motif from tourism advertising: a hay barn in front of Schwarzsee with the mighty Wilder Kaiser in the background. Here it is worth taking a plunge into the healthy moor water.

From Schwarzsee, the bike tour continues via Münichau to Gieringer Weiher, a beautifully situated pond in the midst of unspoiled nature. Through the Bichlach we reach the center of Oberndorf and via the hamlet Sperten back to the starting point of the bike tour.
