Lechradweg

Route length: 245 m
Duration: 18:00 h

Sure, you can do the Lech Cycle Path in one day, but sometimes small bites simply taste better. As the Lech meanders freely along, you can take all the time in the world to enjoy the sprawling gravel banks and small villages along the way.

Tour character

Cycle through one of the most untouched valleys in Central Europe. The Lech Cycle Path stretches 52 km from Reutte to Steeg, following the course of the Lech. Divided into four stages, the cycle path is easy to cycle both as a day trip and as an equalized multi-day tour. Along the route, sprawling gravel banks and numerous inns and overnight accommodation in the villages invite you to linger. The Lech Cycle Path is also barrier-free.

Description

The Lech Cycle Path takes you through landscapes that could not be more different along three stages of life. On this journey through life, the wild river is not just a companion, but a creator anew every day: on its banks, you can see how it has shaped nature and created the most diverse habitats.

From the mouth of the Lech near Marxheim in Bavarian Swabia via the Pfaffenwinkel to the Allgäu and through the Reutte Nature Park region to the Lech Valley, the route leads upstream through 5 regions. Of course, the route can also be followed in the opposite direction from Steeg downstream.

We wish you a wonderful (life) journey - full of inspiring moments on the "Lechradweg - Follow the river of life"!
