Description

Basically the tour can be taken in both directions - even though it is easier to go clock wise. This magnificent tour is an outstanding scenic route (asphalted roads, forest roads, grass tracks etc.). Start your tour in the village centre of Hochfilzen and cycle along the main road towards Leogang. Turn right to go through the forest after 1,5km before „Pass Grießen“. The partially grassy track takes you across the „Huber-alp“ and the „Grießner-alp“, which requires some cycling experience. You will go downhill towards „Aibl-alp“. After a short ascent to the Aibl-alp cusp you will reach the location of „Berglehen“ - which is where the asphalted road starts - and „Feistenau“ (900m). To get back to Hochfilzen you just return on the main road and will reach Hochfilzen after a short distance.
